Outdoor AED Cabinet: Orders now being taken at a special introductory price.
You should store your AED in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations, the Irish Medicines Board recently issued an advisory note on this which you can see HERE. Our new cabinet will protect your AED from harsh weather and low temperatures.
This outdoor defibrillator cabinet will be available in early June, we are currently making the final design decisions.
This is a rock solid steel cabinet that will last for years if not decades. It is thermostatically controlled and has an internal alarm which activates when the door is opened.
The operator sets a minimum temperature and when the internal temperature goes below this point the internal heater is activated.
The heater consumes only 100w and the temperature can always be seen from the outside.
The cabinet requires a conncetion to the buildings power supply.
Two versions of the cabinet will be available, a lockable cabinet or a "Break Glass" type cabinet for public access programmes.

Once the door is opened a high pitched alarm sounds and the strobe light flashes intermittently, alerting personnel or security to the emergency. The cabinet is very high quality, of durable metal construction and is powder coated for added protection and appearance. It will offer you the peace of mind of knowing your AED is safe from vandalism or theft but still very accessible in an emergency.
