The following are just a few of the companies where Southern safety have placed AED's

So far in April we have placed AED's in Roscommon, Cavan, Cork and Kerry.

We placed a very prominent AED in the centre of Killarney in December as part of a pilot scheme for Killarney’s Public Access Defibrillator Programme.

This programme is run by the Michael Linehan Heartsafe Committee whose intention it was to place further units around the town in publicly accessible locations.

We are delighted to say that the trial was successful and in late May, Southern Safety will place eleven more AED’s in very accessible locations in Killarney and its outskirts. The AED’s will be housed in our new Heated AED cabinets.

The programme was officially launched on Tuesday 13th April by the Mayor of Killarney, Mayor Michael Gleeson at a special event in the Gleneagle Hotel. Large numbers of the public signed up to be trained in the use of an AED,

Training takes place in May and all are welcome but booking is essential.
