FAS Safe Pass

 

Since 2003, any person who is required to work in construction related activities in Ireland is required to have a Safe Pass card. A Safe Pass course ensures that all relevant persons are given an awareness of safety in construction and may therefore contribute to a reduction in accidents and injuries int he construction sector. Training must be refreshed every four years.

 

The course will offer candidates an introduction to Health and Safety at work and will cover such content as;

 

Health & Safety Legislation

Manual Handling

Working at Heights

Electricity under/over ground

Personal Protective Equipment

Excavations

Confined Spaces
