Occupational First Aid Refresher

This course will re-certify current Occupational First Aiders for a further two years in accordance with the most up to date (2008) guidelines. The course includes an updated First Aid Manual for all participants.
Aimed At: If you have an Occupational First Aid Certificate that is about to expire, or has just expired, you should not hesitate to renew it. Training is practical, realistic and relevant, with an emphasis on refreshing essential skills and giving candidates the confidence to use them in a real situation.

The Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
All candidates will now be fully certified in the use of the AED.

Assessment |
Candidates will be assessed throughout the day.
The course concludes with a written assessment |

Certification |
On successful completion of the course each participant will receive a FETAC level 5 certificate of qualification allowing them to continue to act as first aiders in their workplace.
Since 2008 this also fully certifies them in the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
Certificates are valid for two years and are recognized by all relevant authorities.
