Occupational First Aid

Southern Safety have been offering practical and very interesting First Aid courses for four years. We  take great pride in  keeping our courses interesting and relevant to the participants and as a result we have never had a dissatisfied customer  or a participant fail a course in that time.

 

We provide training for a large number of companies and public bodies such as the FAI, SouthDoc, various Skillnets, Kilkenny Shops nationwide and many others. 

 

We will assist you in satisfying both your moral and legal requirements. Our courses meet the standards set out by the relevant authorities and are to the most recent guidelines. Occupational First Aid is FETAC accredited.

 

This course is the accepted standard for the provision of first aid in the workplace.

All course materials are supplied by Southern Safety, including a comprehensive first aid manual for each participant.

Heart Conditions (Heart Attack, Angina, Cardiac Arrest)

 

The Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

All candidates will now be fully certified in the use of the AED.

 

 Assessment  

The course concludes with a written and a practical assessment given by an outside Assessor.

Certification requires success in both assessments.

To date Southern Safety has a 100% success rate.

 

Certification

 

Occupational First Aid is FETAC recognised at level 5.

Certificates are valid for two years after which a one day refresher course is required.
