Southern Safety provide a wide range of First Aid related services and training.

We hold various courses on or off site for companies and individuals alike. Our courses include:

·         Manual Handling and Manual handling Instructor Training

·         Patient Moving & Handling

·         Fire Safety Training

2011

Since the beginning of 2011 we have trained over 200 people in First Aid. In the past year we have trained over 600 people in Manual Handling and Fire Safety, without a single negative review, a record we are very proud of and strive hard to maintain.

In the last few years our involvement in first aid and Public Access Defibrillator programmes has caused us to expand our services to include cabinets for Automated External Defibrillators and has led to the creation of www.irishdefib.ie. 

A great many communities in Ireland have created Public Access Defibrillator Programmes. Through the good will, generosity and hard work of volunteers lives may be saved all over Ireland. A great many more communities would like to start a programme and have many questions.

One of the aims of www.irishdefib.ie is to bring these people together.

At irishdefib.ie communities can map the locations of their defibrillators online for all to see and an online forum allows for information sharing between individuals and communities.
