You can now learn to become a Manual Handling Instructor with Southern Safety. We will give you a thorough knowledge and understanding of the role of the instructor and make you confident and prepared to deliver the training to your own employees or company.
You will also have the knowledge and capability to carry out workplace risk assessmentsand be able to recommend a range of controls to improve manual handling in the workplace.

Assessment
|
There are three elements to the assessment.
A written examination, a video recorded training session delivered by the candidate and a risk assessment project which must be submitted within two weeks of the finish of the course.
Certification requires success in all assessments.

Certification
|
Successful candidates receive a FETAC lever six certificate of qualification as a manual handling instructor.
